Hospice Rail Trail Challenge

BNI Larnach | Otago Community Hospice Cycle Challenge 2014

Cycle-Facebook-smlHyper is a member of the Business Networking International Group, BNI Larnach in Dunedin.
We have put together a website to manage the organising, communication with attendees and collection of funds for the BNI Larnach | Otago Community Hospice Cycle Challenge fundraising event.

This is a cycling challenge where you will be cycling though the spectacular scenery of Cental Otago. The aim of our challenge is to raise funds for the Otago Community Hospice while at the same time aspiring to their motto “Living Every Moment”.

The Rail Trail provides access to some beautiful scenery not seen from the highways including mountain ranges, hills and gorges, the vast Maniototo plain and old gold mining towns – and it ends in the bountiful fruit growing heart of Central Otago. The heritage of the old railway line has been preserved, with the retention of viaducts and bridges, and some of the old Railway Stations.
Dates February 6 – 9th Waitangi Weekend 2014.

We are hoping this event becomes an annual fundraiser for the Otago Community Hospice and will eventually spread nationwide to become a major fundraiser for our Hospice’s who offer palliative care for people with life limiting illnesses.

If you would like to participate in this challenge follow the link below and register, we look forward to meeting you and sharing this challenge.

If you can not join us on the challenge but would like to support this great charity then you can make a donation by following the link below.

Infographic designed to show how FoodShare works.
FoodShare – Rescuing Food | Feeding People

We were delighted to be able to donate design services to FoodShare for their new brochures and van graphics.  Southern Motor Court kindly donate the van and additional support to get the graphics applied was provided by ImageArt Sign and Design, Cii Insurance, Downie Stewart, Calder Stewart and Hotel St Clair.

Food Share is a non profit organisation that collects excess fresh and frozen food from Donor businesses (market, cafes, bakeries etc) then sorts and distributes it to social service agencies. They achieve two aims they feed the hungry and reduce food wastage.

We designed the infographic above for the FoodShare brochure so businesses can quickly understand how FoodShare works. Infographics are a great way to show people simply and quickly a process or system. Think of using infographics within your blog posts, social media campaigns and on your website to simplify your message. It is a proven fact that people would rather scan an infographic than read a page of text.

The brochure below we have designed for FoodShare and supplied 200 printed copies. You can support this great charity by sponsoring their next order of brochures. We will print your name and contact details on every brochure so you can benefit from a little marketing yourself. If this sounds like something you would be interested in contact Deborah Manning for more information at foodrescue@foodshare.org.nz

Emirates Team New Zealand
Emirates Team New Zealand racing in the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup in San Francisco

For such a small country New Zealand does amazingly well in many areas; innovation, science, fashion and sport to name a few. Maybe it is because we are a relatively young nation and still have that pioneering spirit, or maybe we have learned to draw on the skills of many to get a task done. That is certainly our approach at Hyper Design & Marketing.

These wonderful photographs of Emirates Team New Zealand racing in the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup in San Francisco have been sent to me by Steven Burchik. Steven is a Sales & Marketing professional with extensive experience in consumer packaged goods and retail marketing. Steven is based in San Francisco and we have collaborated on a recent product marketing venture, with Steven’s help our client gained valuable insight into retail marketing and advertising.

Thanks Steven for supplying us with such great photographs. View Steven’s LinkedIn profile
